Dance has been proven to develop COMPASSION. Dance is a social exercise. Imagine your child in a group of his peers sharing stories about his trip to the zoo, then grabbing a stuffed animal from the pile of props his dance teacher provided. Next, he's crawling around with a friend like a bear. Then you watch as he shares his stuffed animal with another and he's suddenly hopping like a rabbit holding hands with someone new.
